Evan's attended his first chess tournament and LOVED it! He was in the Rookie/Unrated K-3rd section. Won 4/5 games, resulting in 10th place out of 100+ participants in the same section. He was there with several other Bullis kids and together they brought back the group Rookie 2nd place trophy. After a few day of competing, Evan still wanted to play more chess! Wai-gong was there too to cheer him on, and afterwards we all went to Evan's favorite restaurant (Armadillo Willy's) to celebrate!
