Ear infection

Last week Logan was given anti-biotics for the first time due to an ear infection.  Evan wanted some of the medicine too (super sweet and we even paid extra for the strawberry flavor).  James tried explaining to Evan why he can't have any but it wasn't getting through.

Evan: I want some medicine.

James: Sorry this is for Logan only.

Evan: Why?

James: He has an ear infection.

Evan: I want an ear infection!

In Evan's little 4 year old brain, the term "ear infection" has probably been permanently associated with sugar and happiness.
